Seminţele lui Liviu

Iată că am obţinut acordul artistului pentru a împărtăşi cu voi proiectul său.

Seminţele, 5 în prima variantă, cîte una pentru fiecare continent, au crescut în număr, la 7.

Ideea este descrisă în postul acesta.

Iată descrierea proiectului. De ce vi-l prezint? Poate că înălţaţi o rugăciune pentru reuşita călătoriei acesteia „cu 7 sculpturi în jurul lumii”.

The project consists in creating a number of 7 sculptures. The objective is to express the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ about eternal life (John 12) using the metaphor of the seed. The settings will be those where God’s heart dwells the most.

 

1. a hospital – to bring hope to sick people

name of the project: Bartimeus, the blind man

continent: Australia – the first continent where the sun rises (New Zealand)

project: an imposing sculpture to express hope

 

2. an orphanage – to bring joy and hope to orphans

name of the project: Onisim, the „son” of Paul,

continent: Asia – second continent where the sun rises

project: a playing ground with forms like seeds. Children will be involved in the process

 

3. a cemetery – to strengthen faith in eternal life

name of the project: Lazarus, the resurrected man

continent: Africa, the third continent where the sun rises. (Egypt)

Project: a sculpture in the proximity of the pyramids.

 

4. a church – to strengthen the hope of Christians

name of the project: Simon, the martyr

continent: Europe – the forth continent where the sun raises. (Romania, from the pressure of Communist atheism to the postmodern relativism of EU)

project: a seed sculpture to be placed next to a church that for many years is under the water of a dam lake in Transylvania – Romania

 

5. a jail – to bring hope to prisoners

name of the project: Barabas, the liberated prisoner

continent: America – the fifth continent where the sun rises. (In one of the severe jails in USA )

project: a dark object through which to be able to see the sky

6. Bethlehem – to reaffirm that Jesus Christ is the center of the universe

name of the project: Jesus Christ, the seed of the world

place: the Holy Land – Bethlehem, the town where the Seed of the World was plant

project: a seed will be placed partially in the ground, partially over the ground.

As an ancient fountain the pit will have stairs that will offer to people the possibility to get down for meditation

happening: I am going to stay myself for few days in the pit before the sculpture will be placed.

 

7. In Heaven – after my death
